There should be women-free days at the supermarket.

Neither of my parents regularly went to pubs and I don't frequent them either but in recent years, I've been told that women are not allowed in the bar area of a pub. Now then! I was brought up to believe that men and women are equal. Dad actually used to say that if a woman says she's equal to a man, she's pulling herself down. If I wanted to go into the bar area of a pub to buy a drink, I jolly well would.
As for women start the fights and act common, probably they do but I shouldn't think any more than men do. Men get a little alcohol in them and start to act the big man, so I think it's equal. How about, after banning smoking (which I don't necessarily agree with), lets shut all the pubs down and ban drinking - which kills a lot more people than nicotine. I neither smoke nor drink by the way.

Too much drink usually causes fights between men. A passing glance suddenly becomes to much to bear once a man's had a glass or two. I think drunks all together should be banned from pubs, man or woman. Let the people who can handle their liquor have fun together. And as for acting common in the street, she was most likely common when you met her. Can't turn a whore into a housewife. And why a man wants to just sit around men and drink is beyond me unless they're preparing for the circle jerk later.

Of course they shouldn't ban women from pubs, thats just a very sexist thing to do!!
Women have as much right as men to go to a pub, afterall women like to go to the pub and have a few drinks with mates as much as guys do!!

No way - I don't mind some pubs banning men or women, but in general there have been many equally bad examples of grotty behaviour from both, so both should be banned if either is.

I really hope you aren't serious! Are you saying that men simply cannot control their own actions, and that women should be responsible for men acting like neanderthals? No matter what the cause or sex, you are responsible for your own actions. If you punch someone, no matter the reason or provocation, you are responsible. There are mitigating factors in extreme cases, such as self-defense, but otherwise it is your brain that tells your fist to punch. It would be no ones fault but your own.

Why is it that men and women can't take the blame for drinking! If you get into a fight and your drunk its your fault whatever your sex. But lets be honest, guys you'd be bored without us, you do spend a lot of time preening to impress the opposite sex. Of course unless your interested in men.

That statement is absolute nonesense. I have occasionally drank in pubs and I certainly do not act common, I think it's the other way round!

You can't blame a women for a man's actions. As far as acting common what business is it of yours?

It's not that. The trouble in pubs started when people stopped growing up.
