Also I would like to know why they keep saying "We must win this war".

3100 plus troops dead to advenge Bin Laden? Yet Bush will not drop the hammer on Bin Laden. Why is that Conservatives?

If any of you say that we can not find him. Lies, because I dont know how many of are US soldiers have said that we new his location and we have received orders to stand down! Could his father and his oil have anything to do with Bin Laden?

Yea, we did know his location. Several times in fact under Clinton.

We have only had speculation and leads under Bush. He is in Hiding.

As for the Conflict, yes, we need to complete the mission. You may disagree, but then again, you havn't seen a rough day in your life compared to us in the field. We don't want to go back there, so we want to do it right the first time.

When you serve your tour, come back and see me.

Here's a little morality issue: The people we are fighting=bad, Us=good.
Only 3100 dead?, at this point in Vietnam many more had already been killed, and for an even more useless reason

I suppose you have inside info the rest of us don't, otherwise how would you know how often we've almost had him and that our troops had been told to "stand down"

And as for this oil, where is it? Why are my fuel prices still going up?

I'm a former soldier, and yes 3000+ have died. but it always pisses me off nobody talks about the the almost 30,000 troops who have been injured. modern medicine is great, we can can keep a bloody stump alive forever. just as long as it doesn't get counted as a death.

3000+ dead
nearly 30,000 lives ruined

the war is not about good and evil. it is about the end of the age of oil. reality is human life is changing back to the way it was before oil came along. those who adapt to that reality first, are the people who are going to survive. so educate your family if you love them.

good luck and God bless.

To give it more urgency. They don't appreciate that the rest of us aren't behind them, so if they make this war about "Good v. Evil" rather than "the United States v., well, whoever we're fighting, we don't really know" then if we're not 100% in favor of this war, we must want Evil to prevail, and we're horrible people.

Good and Evil are mythic forces. To call ourselves "Good" (with the big "G" as opposed to the little "g") is highly arrogant and causes megalomaniacs like the one in the Oval Office to think that they can get away with whatever they want to do, because they represent Good.

I think if they took a step back and realized that we're not fighting some epic holy war, and that Jesus isn't at the forefront stradding the gun on a tanker, shouting, "I LOVE THE USA!" they might realize that.

Read too many comic books as dorky little teenagers without dates and now they only see things as good or evil.

The war was never about avenging Bin Laden, it was about, oh just insert whatever lie they are using to justify the war now, here.

If they wanted to catch Bin Laden, they would have. He is more useful free running around, that way they have something to terrorize their voting base with.

"3100 plus troops dead to advenge Bin Laden" - get your fact straight. Most of the troop dies from IED set to delay the progress in Iraq.

The world is a big place.. Of course we can find Osama and kill him if bomb half of Pakistan and Afghanistan to bit. but then again you liberals will be crying about that...

by the way, when you start ranting, make sure you read it before you post, do a spell check etc. I know they don't teach that in the liberal government school, but it ain't gonna cut it i the real world.

I suspect it's because "good / evil" is the only way many conservatives are able to remember why we've wasted so many American and innocent Iraqi lives, as well as plundered our Treasury, allowed billions to be siphoned off by theft and payoffs, and still not achieved the goal of killing that pig Bin Laden.

You've got "good," and you've got "evil." Plays well in church, too, you know.

Why are liberals always so ignorant?

First, Bush actually went after him.. a huge improvement over the previous president's policy of "Osama who?"

And no, the US military doesn't know where he's at. They've had hints now and then, and they've gone after them.

And FYI.. the Bin Laden family doesn't have oil. They're in construction.

If it was about good and evil. They would turn the troops on themselves.

Having something more complicated as a purpose or reason is disquieting to a conservative.
