I would take that seriously. Mercury (including fumes) can cause nervous system disorders and crosses the blood/brain barrier which can affect development. Contact your doctor for a blood test. Eat lots of fresh coriander (cilantro) and get hold of an Alpha-Lipoic Acid supplement and take at least 600mg daily - this will help to remove it from your system and both are safe at this stage of pregnancy. Also, consider writing all details of the incident down in case you need to take legal action at work or wherever it happened.

Mercury is bad news when you are pregnant, but I don't believe that liquid mercury gives off any fumes. Even if you had touched it, it isn't soluble, so unless you drunk it, which obviously you didn't, try not to worry! But best to stay away from it in the future just in case.

If your genuinely worried then see a doctor. Theres no one on here that can safely advise you. Your going to have the baby anyway mercury or no, so Good luck.

Well mercury is often assoiated with autism. It's often found in fish which is why pregnant women aren't suppose to eat it.
However...I don't know what fumes will do...? Sorry.

yeah if you would touch just a small bead of it, it would spread through your system right away, and shut down your brain, and then death. but fumes? i dont think mercury has fumes that would be harmful. im not sure.. ask your doctor.
