Depending on how old you are, if you over 18 go to the Dr and get some sleep pills called temazepam, they're great , they also act as a calmative, so those thoughts should stop racing around your head. Some people don't like medication so there are natural alternatives, bur realistically they dont work, well for me anyway. Good luck, oh if you do start taking em only have them every second night or as required cause they have the potential to be habit forming.

I really feel for you - I am exactly the same - it is very tiring! I have just bought a pillow spray, which is sleep inducing. I have found it to be ok (not brilliant but ok!!) I also take herbal nytol - though i try to only do that once a week! They do work, but work so well that i feel groggy for the whole day after.

Try to have a nice relaxing bath with lavender in it, then a cup of hot chocolate, followed by bed. It might work?????

Sounds like anxiety disorder. You may need an antidepressant, or anti-anxiety daily med, which would also help you sleep. If you are looking for a cheap help, try taking 1-2 benadryl before lying down and it should help.
