get close to her, ask her where she would go, how long she would stay away and stuff like that. then without her knowing tell her parents, but, tell them to keep it on the down low. thats what i would do. show her how much her friends love her. bring a camera to school on a day that she is out sick or tell her to stay home for a day, record her friends and what they do, eg "i wonder where, Lauren is? today is so boring without her" stuff like that. i just used lauren as an example.

you answered my question about college and no im not a spoilt brat and i know what a job is if you must know iv not long lost my job and im looking for a new one now! the only reason i lost the job i had was because my boss needed to cut down hours! im 17 years old and iv been working since the age of 12 and stayed in full time education another reason why i am not working at my last job is because i got kicked out i had to move into my boyfriends from there i have to get a train to work and there isnt any trains that would get me to work on time so if your going to judge someone and be a ******* wanker about it you should get your facts straight first

Shes looking for attention and wants things in life to be her way most likely. Until those issues are resolved she will continue in this way. If her family doesn't seem to care enough to help out in the situation, she needs to turn to someone other than a friend. Her problems may be too overwhelming for her to cope with alone.

Go tell your counselor at school or her folks. Then back up. Next thing you know, she'll be wanting you to go with her. This is a great ploy to get attention too. If she really wanted to run away again, she would. Maybe you need more supportive and stable friends. Not ones that suck you dry emotionally. Godloveya for being so kind.

Not to be mean but it sounds like she wants alot of attention and she needs some help. But you have done all you can do. To sit and be her friend and keep letting her know how important she is to you. Just keep showing that you really do care.

just tell her that you care and try and look at her situation from her point of veiw. sit her down and ask her is there anything that you can do to make her feel that you care about her.
