I'm 13, and i'm going to high school next year. Of course, I don't plan on staying there, I want to transefer to a high mateinance school with the rest of my friends. My other grades are high, except for Math. If I wanna transfer to that other school in my tenth grade year, my eighth grade scores have to be high... How can I get my usual 60 percent on the ISAT up to 75 percent with only one week left?

One of the things you will learn in life is that you will have to do many hard things that really suck throughout your whole life. As people get older and older they learn they have to deal with them and they wont go away. This is the point in your life where you realize that you have to make yourself sit down and deal with things that you really hate. As you will get older it will get easier, but it's a valuable lesson you will start learning now.

Some people lock themselves in a quiet room and just concentrate on what it is they have to accomplish, and some play blasting music in the background. Different things work for different people. The most important thing is that you don't procrastinate. You have to absolutely make yourself sit down and study math. If you are having a hard time making yourself study, try taking a minute or two to think of you with your friends at that high school if you do get your grades up in time. That should provide a little bit of motivation for you.

Math isn't easy for some, bu that doesn't mean its impossible. You simply have to learn how to grasp the concept and when it starts to make sense, its really not that difficult. Alot of times, teachers aren't very good at teaching those who are having problems in class. Whats the answer? Try and find the closest person that you know who does well in the subject to tutor you for a while.
