This is my first tropical tank and i am wondering if i have done anything wrong.

You don;t say what else is in the tank with her but odds are very high that she and other adult fish ate the babies. You will most likely have more baby mollys within about 30 days so grab a breeder net from the pet shop so you can be ready.

If you didn't separate her from the other fish then there's a good chance that the baby's were eaten as soon as they were born!!! If your looking to breed fish then you need to buy a breeding tub to put the female in when she's pregnant but you need to be quick to get her out after wards else she will eat her baby's.

they also hide in plants! we thought our fry had been eaten or sucked up in our filter, and a couple of months later see them come out from the plants!
