You could manually update songs so that you could have both ipod's with the same music and so that you don't have to have all of your music on your itunes library. If you select this option on itunes the songs that are on the ipod but not on the computer will not be deleted from the ipod. To manuallly manage songs on the ipod's do the following: Plug your ipod to your computer, open itunes, click ipod options then manually update songs. Hope this helped you.

I would say just update both ipod's on the same sign in page, and then share the one library. If they are the similar ipod's the computer will just take them as being the same one.

Me and my sister do the same thing. We like the same songs, but didn't want to buy them twice. We each have our own user names. On accident, my sister plugged in her iPod under my user name. Something can up that said would you like to transfer this library to your library. I clicked transfer and all her songs are now in my library. I hope that helped!
