A "non-scientific science" would be any body of knowledge that doesn't follow the scientific method to develop their knowledge, but instead has a set of beliefs that they use pseudoscience to try to prove as correct.

Astrology is the classic example of this. They claim that the planets influence behavior based on your birthday, so they gather evidence that supports their claims, ignore the evidence that doesn't, and say, "See? We were right!"
