I think the very idea is ridiculous. Granted, it doesn't look like riveting entertainment, but do we really have to take every single twitch by the mainstream film industry to be a blatant attack on gays? Let's give it a rest people!
BTW, if you don't know what I'm talking about, The Advocate recently posted an article on its website (and possibly in the magazine; I don't know, I don't read it) lambasting the film for its blatant homophobia.

Oh, I think there are some that are rightfully fearful of homosexuals ... and there are some homosexuals you shouldn't provoke. So go the **** away.

Do you think Wild Hogs is "homophobic"?
Having not seen the film I can't really say and if the advocates description is accurate......well, not homophobic but definitely childish and sophomoric. Such collegial humour will no doubt play well to the chattering straight class but truth be told, it sounds more like a bad movie than a homophobic one.

I haven't seen the movie, so I don't think that I can logically comment on the movie one way or the other. Too many people take offense with too many things before even viewing them; people should reserve comments about things until after they have seen them. For instance, I was watching an interview with James Cameron about his documentary about Jesus' tomb that was on last week. And they interviewed a religious pastor who called it so many things like fantasy and garbage without even seeing any of the evidence. Intelligent people should look at the evidence before deciding things, and for me, checking out an article in the advocate is not enough. I feel I have to see the movie to decide that.

It sounds as a stupid movie to be honest, and I dont really give a damn about all these little things using stereotypes.
Besides, take a look on resident evil: nemesis movie and see how they show the black guy....Its disgusting, they stereotype so badly.
I havent seen the movie and I wouldnt mind watching it.

I think I'll make up my own mind when I go see (or more likely rent) the movie.
Having said that if it is jam-packed with fey gay stereotypes then I shall be gravely disappointed. That wouldn't make it homophobic though - just pathetic.

Another pathetic attempt to entertain morons at the expensive of gay men. It does in fact show that straight guys are in constant need of "proving" their straight manhood. What a F...G joke.

if you look at al the top stars in this film and the gorgeouss beautiful women they have had we dont think they would be doing a gay film, too many mega powerful stars in this one. and the biker outlaws will kill gays on sight if you even look at them or wink at them. biker outlaws are notrious for hot women in there lives.

Haven't seen it, but it would make a great name for a gay porn film. Hey, I thought the same thing about Free Willy, imagine my disappointment when I found out it was about your average boy and his killer whale.

No one, and I mean no one is fearful of homosexuals.
Their behavior and lifestyle disgusts a great many of us, but we are not afraid of them.
