assalam o alikum,
Allah has created us, and informed us about the purpose of creating man i.e. "giving life to us" in quran serveral times. i m just mentioning u some of the verses' translation, which speaks on similar topic. hope it will help :)

YUSUFALI: He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!"
PICKTHAL: And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was upon the water - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. Yet if thou (O Muhammad) sayest: Lo! ye will be raised again after death! those who disbelieve will surely say: This is naught but mere magic.
SHAKIR: And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six periods-- and His dominion (extends) on the water-- that He might manifest to you, which of you is best in action, and if you say, surely you shall be raised up after death, those who disbelieve would certainly say: This is nothing but clear magic.
AL-JATHIYA (CROUCHING)

YUSUFALI: Allah created the heavens and the earth for just ends, and in order that each soul may find the recompense of what it has earned, and none of them be wronged.
PICKTHAL: And Allah hath created the heavens and the earth with truth, and that every soul may be repaid what it hath earned. And they will not be wronged.
SHAKIR: And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged.
AL-KAHF (THE CAVE)

YUSUFALI: That which is on earth we have made but as a glittering show for the earth, in order that We may test them - as to which of them are best in conduct.
PICKTHAL: Lo! We have placed all that is on the earth as an ornament thereof that We may try them: which of them is best in conduct.
SHAKIR: Surely We have made whatever is on the earth an embellishment for it, so that We may try them (as to) which of them is best in works.
ADH-DHARIYAT (THE WINNOWING WINDS)

YUSUFALI: I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me.
PICKTHAL: I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me.
SHAKIR: And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.

YUSUFALI: No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me.
PICKTHAL: I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me.
SHAKIR: I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me.

SHAKIR: Every soul must taste of death and We try you by evil and good by way of probation; and to Us you shall be brought back.
AL-MUMENOON (THE BELIEVERS)

YUSUFALI: "Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)?"
PICKTHAL: Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us?
SHAKIR: What! did you then think that We had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to Us?

Right now its really tough. I keep waiting for the better part. You know when you say for better or worse in the marriage vows. (yea I am married to a man that has been driving me crazy since Nov)

thanks for having this q on here ur the best . my look on life is that u can not have a cold hart to pain because it hearts all the time. that u should take a perod of time off to ur selfe to learn about urselfe and learn lessons and take in every thing that comes ur way.

It has it up's and downs and there is nothing you can do about it.
my wife is always going to be right and what ever i say is wrong.
my dog will away make a mess and he will not clean it up.
