What were the benefits for both Native Americans and Europeans?

There were no benefits!
They slaughtered and wiped out the indigineous peoples (i.e. the Mayans and Incas) and destroyed their cultures. And when they returned to Europe they spread new diseases like small pox and malaria everywhere! No advantages could out weigh these negatives!

There are no benefits for Native people.
How does someone benefit from having these people commit:
Cultural Genocide, Genocide, Rape, Torture, Kidnapping, Land Theft, Forced Assimilation and Conversion??????
Contrary to popular stereotypes before colonization Indigenous people lived very civilized, advanced, and happy lives.
