i have lost my motherboard cd. after installing xp, i am not able to listen the song...means no audio
can any one tell how i will listen music again..
having p4 processor...

download realtek audio driver it works fine .

If you know what mother board you have you can go on line and down laod the drivers you need.Just type in the address bar the make of your mother board followed by driver.This will normally display the site you need.

If you identify the model number and manufacturer of the sound card or your motherboard if it is an internal sound card. then you can go to the website of the manufacturer to get the drivers

Use Belarc Advisor (free) to identify the make and model of your motherboard.

Then, go to the MoBo manufacturer's website and download all the necessary drivers (free) and install.

Re-boot and you should be done.

I had the same problem all I did was down load a second music player(nero if i remeber correctly) and it sorted itself out

if u r having motherboard of Intel or asus then u should use realtek and if u r having motherboard of mercury or ashrock use c media.
