Anyone else think he's taking the fall to cover up for "other" higher-ups? And do you think the Idiot King will keep his word about dealing harshly with the GUILTY?

Yes, because the pardon was probably already signed before the ink was dry on his conviction but it will not be released until after next year's presidential elections. Shhh,,. they don't want us to know he was the sacrificial lamb for Darth Cheney. Don't let that get around, okay!
No, President Dimwit will not keep his word because he has never done so.
Remember- Get Bin Laden "dead or alive"

"If anyone in my administration had anything to do with it, they will be dealt with harshly"

Then it became
"if anyone in my administration is indicted, they will be dealt with harshly"

and then morphed into

"If anyone in my administration is convicted, they will be dealt with harshly"

The subtle wording shifted like the sands in the Sahara and with the pardon option, he will not do squat

Finally someone has mentioned the Madness of King George.
Libby will get his pardon. If not he will go on the lecture circuit after the election and tell all the conservatives how he was hard done by.
Don't forget the book, he's probably already looking for a deal.
How come only one Republican answered this question? Wait, they probably don't understand what Falling on the Sword means.

once. and then to assert he can't contact upon it. it truly is now seen an ongoing trial--libby's going to request a retrial, and if that fails and would not come out in his want, yet another attraction--making his perjury trial a stay issue nonetheless. smart on libby's area--he will in no way do time like Martha had to do because by technique of that aspect, bush will pardon him. i'm no longer particular how a lot libby's mendacity has fee us in taxes, yet what an honorable man or woman he could finally end up to be if he only got here clean now.

No he isn't. His grand jury testimony implied he was doing the VP's bidding. Now, he is appealing the verdict, which will only keep the whole controversy in the news longer. If he was "falling on his sword" he'd have pled guilty and let it fade from the news quickly. He is in it for himself, now, althought I do not think he will go so far as to really rat on anyone else.

Everyone seems to think so . It does appear that he is not protecting himself but others and a pardon is in the works I am sure . Or at least I bet he was told about a pardon for him If he took a bullet .

Libby will not spend a day in jail because Bush will pardon him before he leaves office. The trial was a hoax.

I believe Libby is guilty but i also think that if Dick Cheny was i also part of it if not then he knew about it just Nixon knew about Watergate. so yea i think he is the person meant to take the big fall or Cheny would have testified!

He's not falling on a sword. He's choking on a bite of the apple.
