Printers are cheap, but replacing ink cartridges requires a 2nd mortagage on your home. PLUS, they seem to dry out overnight. Can you recommend a good printer that doesn't waste ink? Ideas? Anything?

Currently the best printer that will last long, have good full functionality, prints quality and fast and most importantly have really affordable compatible replacement ink cartridges is without a question (and I know both printers and ink very well with over 7 years practical commercial work experience) is Brother MFC210. Very affordable printer and even more affordable cartridges. Buy the printer somewhere local (so you can return if anything happens the first couple months), but this is very you buy cartridges: http://www.printcountry.com/Brother-MFC_210C-printer/42218.htm
