You can thank the media for this. Hollywood has had a field day with portraying and creating the stereotype of the Mafia Princess. I am of Italian/Sicilian descent . Don't you know that if your name ends in a vowel that you are automatically come from a "gangster Family" and that we are all in the Mafia. The fact that we all come from hard working ,honest, citizens is lost in the prejudice that surrounds us. Be proud of who you are honey, and drop the dead beat who thinks you are a Mafia Princess because you are 75% Sicilian. Obviously, he has never tasted your Mom's cooking! The best in the world are those delicious dishes that come form Sicily.
