went there 3 weeks ago. it was awesome. the water is near boiling temperature in the biggest and main pool. dont go during the day..it's too hot to handle. go after nightfall. there's chalet for rent but inquire first. entrance is RM 2.
there are 4 pools. i think it's the biggest hotspring in Malaysia. As i said the main pool is too hot. even to partly dip your toe. the other 3 pool is tolerated.
it's worth it. about an hour drive from penang.

The place is not bad. Apart from the hot spring itself try to mingle yourself in old town Grik and have some local coffee and foods.
There are a lot of tropical fruits especially rambutans and durians during the fruit season ( June- August ). If you have time go to Lata Bayu in Baling remote area which is not far from Lengong. You can enjoy waterfall and relax yourself in semi-jungle area.
More fun if you are kind of adveterous and love camping kind of thing.. Enjoy yourself....
