convert into common units first: The SI units are metres. So this means you gotta convert it all into meters.
0.231m so thats ok, dont have to do anything there
19.6cm need to change this to metres. To change this to
meters: 19.6/100(coz theres 100cm in 1 metre)
= 0.196m
293mm need to change this aswell
theres 1000mm in 1 meter so this means
293/1000 = 0.293m
So thats the units all squared away. Now to find volume:
Volume of a square block is: length x breath x height.
So multiplying what youre given:
0.231 x 0.196 x .293 = 0.01326587m3(meters cubed coz its m x m x m). To convert it to mm3 to get a nice whole number:
multiply by 1000:
13.26587mm3
so theres your answer: 13.26587mm3

I second the motion.
Turn all the given to same unit. (e.g. meters)
Then use the formula for the volume volume=L X W X H
Then affix the unit with ^3 because it's volume.
I think it's not a square block at all because it has different dimensions. Right?

its sides are 0.231 m,19.6 cm or 0.196 m and 293mm or 0.293 m
hence volume
=0.231*0.196*0.293 cu.m

first of all it wouldn't be a square block because it's dimensions have different sizes...it should be a rectangular block. and its volume is .013 cubic meters! cheers nerd!
