the most of them enjoy seeing simon put the hopefuls down..and he does it so well as really this is his show and he runs the action..randy and paula are minor players..if you took the abuse away it would be very flat and just another variety show..i am glad some people get to get exposed..after six seasons i think the rose is leaving the rose..its getting stale.

Because they just follow what's popular. Its a glorified Karaoke contest, they don't showcase the singer songwriters who play in small venues and clubs for years, who have real talent.

I find it amusing. After the try outs I stop watching but I love the auditions!!
