I was in the pub last night watching the Liverpool match. The pub was reasonably full of football supporters of all different clubs from all different divisions. They all cheered for Liverpool though on this occasion as did I.
There was one group in the pub who were cheering for Barcelona and YES, as it turned out that they were ALL Manchester United fans
Everyone else in the pub got behind the premier team even if they supported another team not playing
What is wrong with you lot?
Why are you the only group of fans that I have come accross that behave this way to other teams?
Should you not look at yourselves and think "I shouldn't be doing this, it is unsporting and shameful"
How can you be suprised that other football fans have grown to dislike you so much with this kind of attitude?

Not all of Manchester United`s supporters are unsporting, I watched the Liverpool Game last night and was shouting at Liverpool to win, and was absolutely overjoyed when they did. I will be shouting for Manchester United to do the same thing tonight as well. I refuse to shout for the other two clubs though. So maybe you can call me unsporting!!!!!!!

There has been times when I have been in a pub watching Man U playing in Europe and the whole pub except for the United Fans wanted the opposition to win, so your comments are a bit out of sorts. Rivalry is what it is.

Europe is a tournament that means very little unless it's won by the champions of the league they are from. It's like saying Liverpool were the best team in europe in 2005 but chelsea were better cause they won the league even though liverpool beat chelsea.

The bottom line is Liverpool are the luckiest team ever, but how many times have they won the league in the last ten years?

Until you win the league, you are nowhere near the best team in europe... just the luckiest.

You are mistaken. Man U fans are not the only fans who do this, Scots footie fans do it. Every single Scottish football fan I have ever encountered will cheer on ANYONE who is playing the English. Especially if it is old adversaries like Argentina or Germany. Scots even have their own snidey shirts printed up for tournaments reading 'anyone but England'.

Andrew Murray ( the nasty little scots tennis player ) famously said it during the World Cup last year when it clashed with Wimbledon. This prompted a load of tennis fans to wear 'Anyone but Murray' T-shirts. Ha ha.

GO Man U up there ^ .. Well they said it all for me apart from, who are you kidding ? Man U + Liverpool HATE each other . I can't see a Liverpool fan supporting Man U against another club unless they hated the other club more than they do Man U . There is only 1 other club i hate more and that's Chelsea , so the only way i'm gonna cheer for Liverpool is if they play them ...

As a Liverpool supporter I couldn't be happier, that the Man Ure fans where supporting Barca. We wouldn't want their support and I'm sure the feeling is totally mutual.

Come on Lille!!!
