Yes they did deserve to win ... Jamie Carragher had the same spark that he had over the weekend with man utd ... the defense was HIGHLY, HIGHLY organized. A great tactic used by Mr. Benitez.
They knew that Rijkaard was gonna bring out all his attacking players, and so having a tight defense would ensure that the ball only JUST gets past midfield at the Barca end.
The Gerrard-Riise-Bellamy-Kuyt formation was sensational, and how about Sissoko and Riise's powerful shots(only to be denied by the cross bar) ???!!!
That was some amazing S.H.I.T.
I was getting goosebumps all over when the crowd belted out "You will never walk alone" at the beginning and end of the match.
A great night for the Reds at Anfield. I loved it !!!
Bring on the quarter finals ... .. .. ..

Yes, although I'm a Barcelona fan, but the Reds played a great well organized game in the 2 legs.
while Frak Rijkard kept trying to find a suitable way to win the anfield game for 70 minutes!
Barcelona was the worst in the 2 games!
Thats the kind of performance that makes my blood boils!

Awesome match. Liverpool played an excellent game, especially throughout the 1st half. Definitely on top of their game.
Of course Liverpool deserved to advance. They played the better game in both legs.

Barcelona was better this time. They could score 2 or more against Liverpool if Ronaldinho were not bad. Messi played wonderful but he was alone for 2nd goal.

Liverpool went out their and fight fight fight, they were incredible, i hope i can say the same for my united today.when we trash Lille.sorry i had to talk about united but i can't stop thinking about the game after what happen in France.

animals(REDS) suck. and ronaldinho is no zidane reality is kicking in for ronaldinho that he's an average player when needed doesn't show up,Sevila game/Reds game.ronaldinho may be flamboyant but ZIDANE is king besides del piero.
