Why don't people realize that Superman is Clark Kent without glasses?

in fact clark kent is superman.people dont realize because superman loves lois lane and clak loves lana.superman work in daily news[if i remember weell]and clark is a farmer.but i think that they are the same.[the names the charachteres]but in a differen thing:superman isa movie and smallville a serial

I think it is because people don't want to believe that a superhero, alien is trying to live his life like one of us. I mean who wants to know that the superheros have the same problems we do, paying bills, getting to work on time, relationships etc.
