It's called being lazy.
He wont b crimping one off every time, he'll just b sitting twiddling his thumbs.
Does he take a newspaper with him?
Using the loo as an excuse to skive off work is the oldest trick in the book.
Or he may have an illness of some kind,
maybe ask him if everything is ok?
Or try following see what happens, u never know, u might get lucky!

I think he is doing drugs AND wants you to follow! It is a known fact that some recreational drugs de-sensitize the anus and allow it to become more relaxed... maybe this is what he is taking and wants you to join him with.

Ask him, in this day and age its nothing to be ashamed about and you sound like a good guy.

As for telling your boss... well i wouldn't recommend it- unless of course you'd like him to go with you too? He may be a little more understanding if you are finding it hard to digest.
