Carbona Stain Devil #5 works on oil and grease stains. It has even removed stains on clothes that have been through the washer and dryer (although I don't recommend waiting).

Use baking soda or corn meal. Put some on the area and let it set for a while. It should absorb the grease. Just check it and repeat if needed. Then put your laundry soap (I use Tide) on it with a little water and rub. It has worked for me. It may not work if this is and old stain, but it's worth a try.

Use Biz. If Biz doesn't get it out, nothing will. If the item has been in the dryer, it might not come out, but Biz has come to the rescue many times for me. Even after the dryer. I make a concentrated mixture of about 1/4 cup Biz and 2 quarts water (or follow pre-soak instructions) and let the item soak overnight in a bucket, or deep bowl. Wash as usual and you can pour the Biz solution right into the washing machine. Do not use Bleach and Biz. They counteract each other.

Biz is getting harder and harder to find, but it's out there. Biz contains enzymes. It is better than oxi cleaners and any other non-bleach cleaner. I've been using it for over 15 years. It has saved many, many garments, upholstery, drapes, bedding, rugs, carpet, etc.

I have heard that pretreating the stain with 'Greased Lightning' is great for grease stains.

My wife uses "shout" on mine and it works well. Just spray it directly on the spots, if real bad kind of scrub together with your hands, but either way, let soak about 15-30 minutes before washing. She uses the regular laundry soap although I used to use the 20 ton mule soap or whatever its called.

put pine sol directly on stains, and add a tiny bit to the washing machine . Works for me everytime.
