My mom would be the biggest offender on that one. It's not just the computer either. If she's at home, she'll talk to everyone there except me on the phone, even if it was her calling me. and if she's at work, she'll talk to coworkers, if she's at a store, she somehow manages to find a worker, or someone... i swear i hate calling her now. I can't even remember the last time i've talked to her on the phone without her ignoring me half the time. I am so with you on that one! SOOOO RUDE! ♥

Yes i find this annoying too! My mum does it and some of my friends and you just know they aren't listening. I drop stupid comments into the conversation now and they still don't realise.
Its still as annoying but makes the conversation a little more amusing for me!!
Try it.

In a different time, it might be considered rude. But by today's rules, (so to speak) it is quite the norm. We live in a time of multi-tasking, and that just seems to be the way this are done now.
What does seem to vex me is being but on hold during a cell phone conversation!
Hope this can be of use to you.
