A 2 liter of coca-cola will do the trick and won't damage the bowl. just poor it in and let it sit. I say over night. As far as mildew I love the Clorox Bleach Pen gel. Works like a charm!

Simple solutions are adding a couple tablets of alka seltzer, the citric acid w/ fizzing is an effective cleaner. Simply put tablets in bowl leave for 20 min and swipe with bowl brush. Pour 1/2 a box of baking soda into your toilet tank once a month and let it stands overnight then give a few flushes, this cleans the tank and the bowl. Last but not least pour a can of coke into your bowl let it sit for an hour, then scrub and flush.

Everyone is right. CLR, lime away and the works cleans very well. As for mold the bleach should work well. When you get it clean it's best to kiltz it then paint with a gloss paint. It will be easier to keep clean.

Lime away works great on toilets. Bleach should kill mold, and you can also get a light switch that will turn on the fan along with the light at the same time.
