i have comcast high speed internet, and when i use google and i search something up, then i click on the link, but it doesnt take me to the real site it takes me to like, a live search thing, or something weird, like it redirects me somewhere else, so how do i fix this??

use ad aware se and spybot s&d. Both are good free antispyware programs. They can detect and remove browser hijackers.
If the problem persists then you can use avg free antispy and superantispy, both have free versions available

1. When did you update your XP SP2 ? Update and
try.
2. Type www.grisoft.com in the address bar and down
load Anti virus and Anti spy programs .Both are free
3. Use a different search engine like Yahoo.
4. Check security setting in IE. If in doubt, click
default
for all zones
5. Try a different Browser FireFox 2 from
www.mozilla.org/firefox

might be spyware
