Hey E-Street,

Think of what taste does for you, is it sweet, sickning sweet, bitter, sour, does it cross your palet like a full bodied wine, using all forms of your taste form one side to the other, like a well formed chord! It is an analogy that I am presenting to you to use. That can be use poetically. i.e. The string was out of tune like a sour grape. i.e. The chord was harmonic like champaign and strawberries.

Lick the neck of the guitar like all those crazy metal guitarists do and then describe how the varnish makes your tongue pucker or how the strings taste like old silverwear.

Alternately (and more poetically), you can compare the sounds when you play the guitar to different foods. Maybe an a minor chord sounds the way red wine tastes or maybe a C major arpeggio reminds you of macaroni and cheese.

Either way, this could be a lot of fun.

Electric or acoustic? If it's electric have you ever put your tongue on a strong battery or something else with electricity in it? Frizzy, salty metallic something. :p
