If you take the pill every day as directed, then the week you don't you will still be protected. In reality the 7 pills in the 28 pack is only sugar pills so that the person will not forget to take them regularly.

You are protected against pregnancy in the week that you take it. It would hardly have revolutionised the world if it only worked 75% of the time! If you take it properly for 3 weeks, you are protected for the other week.

You are protected against pregnancy the whole time, as the pill stops you ovulating which is day 15.

Providing you take the other pills correctly and on time, you should be protected for those 7 days.

Well yes, but the pill makes your body think it is pregnant, when you stop on those days it is to let it know it isn't and get ready for the next cycle. Use protection for health at these times as it gets messy

yes you are! have u still got the leaflet that came with it? Havea look in there! But you definately are protected as long as you have taken it properly. Although you are usually on your period for that week!

once you havent missed any pills during the other weeks you are covered against pregnancy
