Well, its actually just a story... She was JOANA or JOAN a papese, and as the story goes she would have died on the streets of rome while she giving birth to a child, all that in the middle of a huge crowd of people, during a procession... Nobody knows if it´s true, yet there are some occult scholars who have even depicted her on the tarot card nº 3, "The Papese" check it´s correspondence in the "Papus Tarot deck" and you´ll see what I mean.

The only woman Pope there will ever be is one that is married to Mr Pope and is, thus Mrs Pope. That's as close to female popedom as it's ever gonna get. How about a lady Archbishop of Canterbury? Bit more likely, but I wouldn't hold your breath

there has been 1 woman pope, but everyone thought she was a man. one of the ceremonies still in existance before a pope is sworn in (if that is what it is called) is to be paraded in front of cardinals naked, to check he has the right equipment so to speak.

We don't get women popes, the Roman Catholic church does not allow female priests. Only other Christian offshoots (such as C of E) have allowed women priests recently.

Yes, good idea, but as long as there are all these old antiquated bishops and priests, it'll never happen.
