Greek mythology draws on the basic qualities of humans for its stories........love, hate, revenge, sex, lust, egotism, curiousity, mystery, etc.
Philosophy also seeks to make sense of the validity of these same human traits.
Modern day philosophy certainly owes much to the early Greek philosophers, who were fond of using Greek mythology to illustrate their teaching.
So yes, the fact that they are all linked is a very real possibility and, I would say, probability.

The shrinks like to use anything Greek. It has been a trend since Roman times.
The Greek system of belief developed as their culture expanded and assimilated regional deities. It is far easier to make an enemy's deity a relative of Zeus so that their own god(s) could continue. Notice how the deities have geographical connections? That is due to the original culture's religion. It became confused over time as certain gods became more popular. The Romans did the same thing, and then the Christians who only had one God had to come up with another slant on the old trick and so started assimilating holidays and "saints". Up until the 20th century ideas changed slowly and information exchange was also slow and cumbersome. Now with the Information Revolution, humanity will evolve into a homogeneous group over the next century. Many outdated fashions will disappear due to the burden on the human brain.

In many ways it is, look at the stories in greek mythology. For examply the story of pandora's box. In it the curiosity of man is displayed, she even opened it a second time. Then there is Zeus..the most unfaithful of all the gods. Every story in Greek Mythology touches on key points of the human psychological design.

Well a lot of greek stories are used to explain phenomina,
For instance there is a story about two brothers,i cant remember their greek names but one brother was called forethought and the other brother was called afterthought.
One brother was smart and the other brother wasnt so bright etc.
The greeks i'm pretty sure used explain everything with stories, moral, virtues, even the peculiar way light would shine in the forest, best guess is they even made gods from these stories,
