I just gave birth 7 weeks ago. I got the nuvaring, but cannot start it until I get my period, which doesnt seem to be happening. We had unprotected sex 4 weeks after delivery and then 6 weeks, and almost 7. Is it likely I could be pregnant again? I really dont want another one right now. How long do I have to wait to take a test?

You could be pregnant again so I would get an over the counter test to check. Your body could also still be adjusting to just having a baby. The only way to know for sure is to take the test and then see your ob/gyn. Good Luck!

Sweetie, you should be taking the test. The new one says it can tell five days after conception. My daughter's two girls are 11 months to the day apart. Not a good plan. Believe it or not, her's was planned but of course it can happen w/o being. She had her first two babies die shortly after birth. She was far enough along they should have been ok but she was sick and only weighed in at about 80 lbs so the babies were too underweight. She was so crazy from losing those two that she wanted two more and has them. They were both preemie too but she was up around 100 lbs and they did fine. We have Celiac disease and have problem pregnancies from that as we didn't know we had it at that time. So, go take your test, thank God that you are getting your family taken care of all at once and then have your tubes tied which is what she did. These girls look nothing alike but everyone has always thought they were twins brcause they are so close in size. They have been really fun. From Dec 17 to Jan 17 each year they are the same age. That's fun to watch people try to figure out. Good Luck and God Bless

If you can be pregnant or if you have infertility problems I reccomend to follow this method http://pregnancy.toptips.org

Many factors can cause a couple trouble in conceiving a baby, I'll list a few of the most common ones in women:
Anorexia or other dietary dysfunctions
Lacking amounts of FSH and LH are produced, so ovaries aren't as functional as they could be, and so not many eggs are produced
Stress, causing periods to become irregular
Medications such as cancer treatments, antidepressants, hormone therapy, pain killers, and antipsychotic drugs can all cause temporary infertility.

With the method that I posted above you will be able to get pregnant!

It's possible. You are very fertile the first few weeks after birth. I have known a few woman who go for their 6 week check up only to find out they are pregnant again. Take a test. Have you had your post partum check up yet? If not ask for a test then. Good Luck.

You should probably just take a test and see what the outcome is. I had my baby 6 weeks ago and haven't gotten a period, but my OB said it can be months, especially if you are breastfeeding. Also if you are breastfeeding, that is a 98% effective form of birth control.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/fd75a

its very possible. right after delivery your body is extremely fertile. i would go ahead and make a drs appt to have a test done or it could be that all the stress and worries that come with being a new mom is delaying your period.
