They were doing highlights from the knicks game, one of them said " the knicks are looking good these days" Then one said yea untik the leves broke, i think that was a cheapshot to New Orleans

I heard it, but no cheap shot there. It's just a saying. It means "when **** gets BAD."

This term is not a cheap shot to NO. It has been widely used before Katrina. I do think the anouncer should be more aware that a term like that should be put on ice though.
