Instead of being equal to men, are women just better all around and will one day rule over the world while men are forced to stay chained in the house possibly being physically beaten by their wives? And, on the subject, is it okay for women to beat up their husbands/boyfriends, or is it considered domestic violence?

OK, we've got a genuine grade A manhater on our hands. Beating a boyfriend is no better than beating a girlfriend ... it just doesn't hurt you personally. Are you really that egocentric? If you are, it might be best for you to just stay single.

I believe that we are both equal and we fulfill each other's gaps.
Women are better in some things, men are better in other things.
We focus by nature and not society into some things....men are more into creating things to be useful, like tools, and research them in depth. Women are more responsible though and can keep things going cos they are more rational.
Domestic violence is always domestic violence, the reason why its always men beating women is only because men are stronger so they can take this advantage. And to be honest, a man who beats a woman is the worst coward ever...
I think women are great and as a gay male I appreciate them and adore them and I have no intentions in getting them to sleep with me so I can assure you that I am genuine.

I don't know where you are getting your information but women are already equal to if not better than men a lots of ways and yes it is considered domestic violence for a woman to assault a man; here's a newsflash: the law doesn't care about gender when it comes to this issue.

Come down off of your throne princess. We are basically equal. Each of the sexes bring different traits and abilities to the table. Would you like it if your boyfriend beat you up? You just want to reverse roles, Domestic abuse is domestic abuse, it doesn't matter who the victim is or who the attacker is. Either way it's WRONG.

I don't believe either gender is better than the other.. However; our society has been male-dominated since its conception, back in the 1700's.
I don't think that we'll ever see a total matriarchal society in the US. Not that it would be a bad thing, might even be better than what we have now, butttt, just don't foresee it happening... even if hillary gets elected, God forbid.
Physical abuse, no matter which way it goes, is still domestic violence.

No, they aren't better, they are equal.
Yes it IS domestic violence to beat on your spouse/boyfriend. Domestic Violence works both ways(unless you live in Ohio where domestic violence only applies to Married couples, thanks to their anti-gay laws).

Women are only superior in that they have a more complete genome (given that the X chromosome is that much bigger than the Y).
Otherwise we are all equal - or should strive to be.
