Mental happiness leads to physical beauty.
When you have a clean conscious, a positive outlook and live a life without material obsessions, your body responds accordingly, you look more attractive and your body language is energetic and infectious. A positive perspective also reduces stress, which makes a lot of us tense and curl up (not very pretty).
We can all take a lesson from people of other cultures. Place a high priority on the people you love and the community that surrounds you. No beauty cream can do that for you.

You answered your own question, don't you realise? While you guys are there worrying about how you look (and the people that make these skin care products feed on your insecurities to get into your pockets) the girls you describe are actually living their lives without worrying about what other people think. Besides, how do you know they cannot afford a balanced nutrition? As far as I know, most of these people own crops and livestock- they are certainly not living off McDonald's or Burger King, which is a good thing anyway. And trust me, they have their own little beauty secrets, too-every culture does- the only difference is that it is natural, whatever it is, and it does not come in the fancy Oil of Olay bottle.

They use natural skin care products, I know a few, like certain oils and lotions. They pick them right from trees, the things we spend money on to have imported like shea butter and certain oils, they have at their complete behest. I'd believe that they have a balanced nutrition because no matter what race you are if you don't eat well the skin and hair suffers.
Don't get jealous, we all have our own unique beauty. I'm sure you're very pretty too.

About 40 yrs ago my dog took off running from the yard and headed toward the post office. As I looked there were 2 German shepards running to attack a black woman with a small child ( a prejudice man let them out for attack ) . I ran up and helped run the dogs off and when I looked at the woman I was in AWE ! The black woman was so black she had a blue hue, and the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. I still remember how she looked. Don't see that blood-line anymore.......most have white mixed in ( which I also think is beautiful ).

"Can't afford skin care products or balanced nuitritrition"
DO you realise how ignorant that statement makes you sound? Not all of Ethiopia is poor you know.
No, Ethiopia is NOT a nation of Beggers and Addis Ababa (the capital is a beatiful and well develop city)
Believe me ethiopians are beautiful... and they can afford a balanced nuitrition and beauty imported products from cosmetic companies like lancome and other Parisian companies

There are beautiful girls in many different ethnic groups. I have seen Oriental girls to die for. There are Black, Hispanic, and White girls to mention a few, who are so beautiful that they literally take your breathe away. Remember, that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".
