This whole Plame/Libby affair was so stupid from the get go. Wilson writes an op ed piece saying there was no evidence for Bush's 16 words about Iraq buying Uranium. Instead of talking about facts, Cheney's first reaction is to attack the messenger, which is just so typical of him. How to do that? Point out his wife was in the CIA?????

OK, I don't necessarily think they were punishing Wilson by ruining his wife's career. But they were obviously trying to attack his credibility.

Why do it that way? Why would it matter who sent him.

The biggest stink in this whole affair is the antagonism between the White House and the CIA. The White House cannot stand to have to deal with facts that contradict their policy.

Ernest, lay off the THC. I have been watching and reading the news and the jurors are saying the main question they had was why Libby was on trial instead of Rove or Cheney.

The other big question is, who forged the Niger documents?

Hint - they did a half-assed job.

Joe Wilson is a liar and that liberal rag the Washing Post even printed an article revealing that.

Just read the article in the Washington Post or the Lawyers on Powerline Blog also followed it pretty closely look up Joe Wilson on their site. He had an agenda from the very beginning and it is ridiculous to think Cheney or Rove outed a CIA agent.

It matters who sent Joe Wilson because it has been proven he lied about what he found.

Several other countries intelligence showed Iraq tried to buy enriched Yellow cake weapons grade uranium. Wilson's report was proven to be false and was from the get go was an attempt to discredit Bush because he was passed over for an appointment. The bi-partisan Congressional report stated Wilson lied. The Washington press had the author of the law covering the outing of covert agents yesterday. She said that Wilson's wife did not meet any of the requirements to be called covert.

particular, they close Libby up by skill of commuting his sentence he won't talk. The question replaced into never if she replaced into engaged on the CIA, yet whilst she replaced into an agent...or a document clerk. So now you get to hearken to purple herrings like she wasn't covert. Any precedent, no longer likely, like quite some this administration they are able to't even lie nicely sufficient to no longer get caught. yet they administration the suggestions so they're able to decrease what could be looked at. they're in simple terms hoping to bury it the way they did Gonzales, and in simple terms in case they are going to unbury Clinton's intercourse existence. intercourse is plenty extra exciting than treachery.

Wilson had an agenda before he was send and Plame wasn't honest about sending him either. Wilson told a different story every time he opened his mouth and he was more interested in his personal agenda than telling the truth.
