one way is to ask an autistic savant. he will be able to answer your question, given any date, accurately within very few seconds.

Or... you can search for "Perpetual Calendar Number Theory" in google or "Calendar Calculations." The sites will give you the formula.

Yes, there is an algorithm to calculate that information. And I'm certain that it's probably on at least a couple hundred websites.
