During 1800s, Anthropologists had a problem as to how
to classify human beings. One researcher proposed the
expression "intelligent animal". After advanced studies
on monkeys, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"tool using animal". After observing some animals
making wooden tools and sharpening them with knife like
stones, it was dropped. Another researcher proposed
"weapon using animal". A decade ago, a rare film was
shot in African forests. One short monkey was hit very
badly by a big monkey. The short monkey prepared a
wooden knife using stones and hid it on the top of a
tree. After some days, when the big monkey came to
attack the short monkey, it ran up to the tree for the
weapon it has hid and killed the big monkey. The one
thing that the anthropologists found with any group of
human beings, even if they did not have contacts with
the out side world for thousands of years, is
spirituality with some form of religion. So, man is a
"spiritual animal" if you want to call him that way.
The Upanishads say that "Manush" (human) was so named
because he has "Manas" a mind higher than that of the
animals which realises the divinity in creation. It was
present since the creation of human beings. Religion is
the characteristic feature of most of the human beings.
It is as eternal and and as unchanging as the Almighty.
Disbelief by a few will not affect it.

Yes.
Spirituality makes human being scared from doing wrongs. The Spirituality brings our trust on an almighty. Spiritual awareness increases respect for each other, for each community, religion & caste. Spiritual awareness makes us love every creature of the universe. Not only that, it makes us love everything of the universe, all creations of God. Therefore, spiritual awareness is necessary for a human being.

YES dont listen to any one if u want my advise hehe ...ofcourse it is ....dont u ever think about ur purpose in life...and why ur even here ...and who created all the gorguz things around u and for wat reason ...if u serzly havent thought bout that then u wont know why to appreciate all these beautiful things u have ..from materialistic to non-materialistic ..having a spiritual connection or God in ur life is infact important ..otherwise life becomes so meaningless and no matter what u have even a ferrari...after a while ull find that even that duznt satisfy ...so what is full satisfaction ...speaking ur heart put problems n all ur fears n hopes to God or to whatever u belive in ..it makes u happy and puts a smile on ur face when u dont noe y ...its like love duz except its much worthy coz wen u dont have it nemore u feel things u dont noe why ur feeling them n u feel sumthingz missing and empty for a very long time :) keep it up n nice question..hope i helped u :)

Think about it. All through recorded and prerecorded history, spiritualism has played a part in mans existance. From the greatest civilizations to the smallest tribes in remote locations, they all know about spirits and have gods of one sort or another.
