Irregular periods can be caused by many things. First of all, if you are a teen, it is totally normal and will most likely (though not always) regulate as you get older. Also, diabetes is a cause of irregular periods. Some other causes are:
stress
weight changes
vegetarian diet
infections
fibroids
polyps
endometriosis
hormonal imbalances

Question 2: Not necessarily. It depends on why your periods stopped. Many times, medications can be given to induce ovulation so that pregnancy can be acheived.

Question 3: Believe it or not, most diabetics make it to full term! A diabetic pregnancy just has to be monitored closely. One of the major problems with a diabetic pregnancy is that the baby can grow very large making a c-section necessary. Once pregnant, it is imperitive that you maintain tight control over your sugar level to avoid complications. As long you follow the advice of your gynecologist and diabetes specialist, you should have a happy, safe pregnancy.
