I need accomodation in Amsterdam (pref city centre) for 7th April for 2 nights?

Its for two adults.

I managed to get a good deal on flights ex NCL but am opn a budget but willing to pay between £100- £300 odds.

I recommend renting and apartment. An apartment is fully furnished with dishes, linens and sometimes even DVD players and stereo systems.

I lived in Amsterdam and enjoy visiting every few years,and we always rent an apartment. It is cheaper than a hotel, not like a hostel and you will have privacy and the ability to save on food expenses since you can go to the grocery and make your own coffee/tea in the morning.

Search the Internet for apartment rentals, like "stayamsterdam".

Depending obn what you want there are some nice hotels, some hostel types and accomodation in pubs.

Look at Trip Adviser for lots of ideas alternatively The Winston Hotel is good as is the Koopermuelen.

Just outside the main railway station in Amsterdam is the Accommodation Bureau. Just go in tell them what kind of accomodation you are looking for- price range - area etc and they will sort everything for you. Staff are extremely helpful and all speak good English.

You'll only find out name of hotel afterwards but will be a well known brand and OK don't be scared.
