Have a look at other people's writing that you like ...

Do they press lighter or harder than you?
Are the letters larger or smaller?
More spaced or tighter?
Slanting?

It is hard to tell without seeing your handwriting, so look at it in comparison to things you like a bit more analytically using that list.

After that ... practise. Make sure the pen is comfortable in your hand without strangling it. Without practise, you will go back to your old style when you get a bit tired.

Sometimes, it is a different way to write 3 or 4 letters (R, F, G, Y ...)

Handwriting, in no matter what style, looks best when it is consistent. Whether you write in cursive or letter by letter, 'nicer' handwritting comes when you have established your handwritting style.

easy. don't "write" the words, draw them. pactice makes perfect and berfore long you will learn to write your character neatly and quick. this is basically what they tried to teach you in first and second grade. then you stopped paying attention in your haste to get the thoughts down. now it's time to review first grade. yes even if you are now in college or the work world.

just write out a page a day in this way. write anything. improvement will come fairly quickly.
