Absolutely not! Dogs are loyal, affectionate, kind, make great companions and are always there for you. When my wife died suddenly, my dog Chipper made life easier for me. He became my responsibility, and needed me. I don't know how I would have survived those lonely weeks and months without him. I believe that the good Lord created our pets to keep us sane. I know that mind did.

If it is then I am a great big KOOK. My children have all grown up, so my dogs have become my babies. It makes them happy, it makes me happy, so who cares? I think it would only be a problem if you had children and placed the dogs over their care. Which I sincerely doubt any sensible person would do. So, yeah, love your poochies like kids, its good for your health. As one dog lover to another.

It is normal to love your dogs like the were your children. I have one dog, and I always tell the people that she is my daughter. Of course, my daughter -who inherited all the bad habits of my wife- doesn't like that I say that the dog is my daughter too, because she doesn't want to be compared to a dog. I must agree on that, my dog has better manners and it is not fair to my dog.

I think that there are alot of people like you out there. I know one of my good friends has a dog who is her baby. I thought it was a bit weird but thats because I dont view my pets in the same way. your view of your pets may have aroused at an early age!
you probably just have a strong motherly instinct~

i dont think it is kooky unless you eat out their bowls and take baths with them besides that its normal i love my guineapigs and i plan on getting a dog so just ignore them and continue loving your dogs

no not at all, i have 3 dogs myself, and i love them as if they were my children, my niece's and nephew litteraly think that they are couzins, to my babies, hey even sleep on the bed with me and my husband, they also have control over the couch...they go to a park(dog) just lke a normal kid would....I am happy to find so any other people who don't misstreat ther pets, and are considerd family........Thank you

don't know.dogs are unclean animals.I wouldn't even touch them.why is it that Americans consider dogs and cats as their family members? we're mankind.animals cannot be our children, but they can be loved.loving animals as much as your children is strange to me.maybe you don't have any children at lll.that'd be why you think you'd love them equally.
