What drives you crazier than anything else?

Is a "pet hate" the English term for an American "pet peeve?"
Let's see here......
1.) I absolutely ABHOR people who walk up the center of the store aisles and just stop whenever they please. You drive up and down one side of the road, do the same with your damn grocery cart!!!!
2.) I cannot stand it when I'm at a stoplight and some jackass is blaring his rap "music" so loud that the entire road shakes. They really need to learn that it doesn't make them look cool but rather like complete idiots who have no concept of normality.
3.) Ah, self check outs... they're WONDERFUL... when people use them responsibly. The reason they are self check outs is because it's intended for those who have only a few items and don't need to wait an hour just to ring up 10 items or less. So if you have 2 months worth of groceries, etc in your cart, do NOT use the self check outs!!!!!!!
4.) Parents that take no responsibility for their child(ren)'s rude and disgusting behavior. Your kids = YOUR responsibility!
5.) People who are behind you for miles, then speed up, pass you, get in front of you, and then resume the same speed they were when they were behind you. WTF?!
6.) Peoplez who talk lyk dis andz dey go on and on bout da way pplz act and talk yo. Wut up wit dat?

I live in an apartment with tiled floors, what irritates me more than anything is people who come home late at night upstairs and walk around in high heels waking me up EVERY TIME!!! They have no consideration for others. So in a nutshell my pet hate is inconsiderate neighbours!!!!!

Grammatical errors such as people who spell 'you're' as 'your'.
Or people who use alot of 'text message language' such as 'I h8 spllng mstaks'
It seems most people on-line don't know how to spell and most seem to have bad grammar.
Mine isn't perfect by any means but god damn it people, you should have learned this in your first 4 or 5 years of school. It's pretty basic stuff!

I hate it when I have to work on a welfare house and they sit on their fat butts watching me. I've had a hart attack and 2 hart surgeries and I still pay my way in this world and work every day.

people who eat noisy and people who sit and eat a full meal and after they have eaten every scrap they say " that was awful but it filled a gap !" this really gets on my t*ts
