It's location on tip of Western Europe, just southern edge of Spain.
The Strait of Gibraltar is what it called, which separates from the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. And also separates from Europe and Africa as well the capital city is Gibraltar and

And is was British Crown colony, claimed in 1713 and still run by the British colony, run through out both WW1 and through out WW2 and till today.

It have a lot of History from why the British have this place, what the reason for using it joining both of World War. Plus is was use in a small scene part in a James Bond movie.(movie title unknown)

In addition, it really popular for tourists just to travel here to see, "The Rock," and to enjoy the wonderful weather.

Gibraltar was the location for the opening of one of the 007 movies, "Licenced to Kill", I think.

An old movie from the "Carry On.." gang (Brittish comedy) talked of the monkeys/apes on the Rock as a symbol of the UK rule over the area.

I have never been to the western Meditaranean, so haven't seen it for myself.

Lots of people refer to Gibraltar as the rock, because it is easier to spell(?). Do you own a piece of the rock? The saying is famous around thhe world.

yes i have. and the famous part is the strait of Gibraltar also served with a few Royal Marines. I think its on their crest or something

It's on the southern tip of western Europe, just south of Spain. It is the northern side of the strait of Gibralter, which separates the Atlantic Ocean and the Med Sea.

I think it's been involved in a couple wars in history...

Of course I know where it is. I live on the island of Malta and has the same problem because it cannot be located on certain small maps.

Its actually part of the United Kingdom.
