Try core strengthening exercises like Pilates. You can get DVDs and do it at home. Also, those big exercise balls are really good. You can do a variety of moves, all the while keeping your balance so your stomach is engaged. The stronger your stomach muscles, the more supported your back will be. Exercise's like pilates and yoga etc. also improve your posture and flexibility. I had previous back surgery and struggled for years to find things I can tolerate and to improve my quality of life. These worked for me. Good luck!

Hey i know a guy who was in the same position as you. He pulled his back a few times a year and was out of work . He started using a really new product endorsed by lots of doctors called Agel FLX. He was better in a matter of days and takes them daily now because they dont just heal they continueslly repair. FLX is formulated to take advantage of 4 fantastic ingredients that have all been found to be very beneficial in the maintenance of healthy joints and maximum flexibility. This formulation is a first, not only because it contains all 4 ingredients, but also because it is delivered in a gel suspension, a remarkable innovation.
Joint pain and immobility associated with osteoarthritis are a problem that is increasing around the world. Osteoarthritis is the term used to describe joints that have deteriorated and become inflamed as a result of damaged cartilage. The cartilage serves as the cushion at the joint surface, and when it is damaged and worn, it becomes roughened and patchy, sometimes to the point of bone-on-bone friction. These roughened surfaces cause inflammation, subsequent pain, and a decreased range of motion of the joints. Osteoarthritis has many causes, many of them relating to extended use and abuse over the course of many years. In fact, practically everybody has, or will experience some degree of osteoarthritis at some point in their life. But, there are some physical conditions and other predisposing factors that accelerate this process including the following: obesity, poor nutrition, genetics, traumatic injury, and overuse. In fact, some people even develop some degree of joint pain and degeneration by their teenage years. The four ingredients in this are Chondroitin, Glucosimine, MSM, and Celedrine. (look them up theyre all good) Anyways heres buddys site and it seems to have worked for other people so you can check it out. they have 6 products now i believe. https://www.globalagelonline.com/infocanada
Good luck

I too suffered when I was younger and it is naot a nice complaint to suffer from. The best advice that I received from my father on this subject was to always keep my back warm, and don't exert my back when the muscles were cold. For a number of years I wore a vest under my shirt and sometimes a long sweater in the winter, indoors and out. So far I have reached my sixties and don't suffer any more.

im only 21 but got an injury when i was 15 which i will have permanently. posture is a massive part of keeping back pain away, i also have my own 15minute physio routine to do before bed. i had to go to weekly physio for about 18months so she gave me the routine. i also have a TENS machine which is pretty helpful, i think u can buy these now from pharmacies?

See a chiropractor and exercise your midsection. Put "core exercises" in google and see what you get.
Use ice as a pain reliever. It is much more effective than heat.

At first i suggest you to go a doctor , your problem may not be related to your muscles , it may be a norologic or ortopedic problem . you maybe must take a X-ray of your spine and maybe need to physiotherapatic examinations .
your doctor can help you effectively .
