There are every day instances of lovers turning hostile, marital discord, even children hating their parents, closest friends becoming cold to each other. Why and can we do something to avoid this situation?

There can be many reasons of hating somebodywhom they used to love intensely. For eg.-Children hate their parents becauseof the generation gap.They both may be having different thinking.Closest friends genarlly become cold to each orther because of missunderstandings.These things are very natural and common to happen.We can avoid these situations by handling them very carefully.We need to cooperate with others and take care of their felings also.

I think so b'coz after a certain period of time everyones taste,habit or behaviour changes.Everyone wants new & not the old.They really think the same in their relationship may be it is with their parents,friends or anyone else.Actually they get frustrated to listen or obey them.We can solve this problem by lessning the age gap between parents & by helping our friends without expecting any returns from them.Also, tackling them with love & understanding their problems.

Sadly - it happens all the time. It's a part of life that we have to get used to. Makes this statement true that "Nothing really lasts forever". People change as well.

hello,
well aout your question i have noticed the same thing but serioulsy i think that there is nothing to do about it other then ..dont do it to other ppl unless they do something to you and even thought they do try talking things through..... i think it is so horrible when ppl do that and that is why i never do it to anyone no matter how much i am angry or hate the person....
if one person can change then there is hope for everyone else... so if you know someone that does it tell them how you feel..

I guess it's because expectations increase...
At least in friendship case....
In case of children hating parents it happens if the children are not brought up in house and they are away for most of the time in childhood...

Its because people take things for granted and forget that relationship needs to work on and not given. Besides, people's needs do change with time.

most of the kids hate their parents thinkin that they r always scolding them n making them go 2 school. but v hav 2 make them kno that it is 4 their own gud. but they'll kno it as they gro old. sum people r jealous if their friend goes wid sum one else. they'll want that frnd 2 hang out o'ly wid them n wudn't want 2 talk 2 em.
