I understand UPload, not DOWNload.

FTP your EXE to your root directory, and create a link to it on a page. There's really not much to it. When users click on it, they will be asked to download or run.

Now - most EXE's are either installers, or installED applications. You CANNOT put [for example] WINWORD.EXE and expect it to run from the net, as there's a bunch or registry info that needs setup first. Not too many EXE's are standalone - except maybe viruses (thus everyones warning).

Sorry for the lecture, but just so you understand...it's just not good and standard practice.

NOT REALLY GETTING THE QUESTION BUT.....WHEN UPLOADING EXE FILES FROM INTERNET BEWARE THAT THEY ARE REAL EXE FILES. THE MAJORITY OF VIRUSES ARE MAN- COMPROMISED. MEANING YOU OPENED IT- YOU GOT IT! EXE FILES ARE NOTORIOUS FOR THIS ****. JUST BE CAREFUL, OK AND ALWAYS SCAN IT FIRST BEFORE OPENING THEM..HOPE SOMEONE ELSE CAN HELP WITH THIS TOO.

you could try using free web host such as:

www.ifastnet.com
www.phpnet.us
www.110mb.com

afaik it has no file restriction.. but your account could get deleted if its not active.
