Incest isnt exactly wrong... BUT... you have to think about any children that might result from the act. And just as importantly the impact it would have on others in the family. If its kept secret between two consenting adults and no kids result, well then I suppose its a personal choice. I must say though, ideally, familial love should transcend sex.
Im guessing that folks who are related (and especially if they grew up knowing this, lived together, etc.) and want to fu*k each other are probably lacking that special, nonsexual bond that exists between members of a healthier family. I find it sad personally... You can get di*k and pu**y anywhere, but thats generally not the case with the limited number of family members you are born to.

Well, aside from the obvious genetic problems that will come from it, society believes it is wrong because our parents and their parents said it was wrong. I mean, not that I am condoning incest but for the sake of argument: Society once believed that the earth was the center of the universe and it was flat. You know, there is no such a thing as right and wrong and just because you believe it is right, it doesn't make it right. Really, this is an argument that when it comes down to it, no one can prove it either way because it comes down to beliefs and values. And beliefs and values are based on opinion and perspective. For example the gentlemen who attacked us in 9/11 believed that it was right for them to do what they did; we believe it was wrong but you will never sway either side otherwise. So, most people have decided that it is wrong but a few have decided it is ok. So, really to answer your question the reason why most people think it is wrong is because we were taught that is was wrong, doesn't mean it is wrong. My wrong could be your right.

It is wrong morally, and it is wrong socially, plus it is wrong genetically. If we all practised incest, we would be a race of physically deformed human beings! Our genes are not designed for in-breeding!

If you have to ask that question, then either you were born with a bad gene or your parents did not raise you right !!....(so, which is it)?....oh !, there is a third possibility....you are just being a smart*ss.....didn't care much for your question, but you sure deserve a good telling off !!....consider it DONE !!........

the main reason is because i can cause genetic abnormalities Ie your children are more likely to have mental of physical problems
religions make it a sin and use the 'fear of god' - to try and prevent this.
almost all animal species have to mix there genes - this is in perfect agreement with darwin and how we evolve

Your genes aren't capable of handling that, contrary to our lord sir darwin lol,,,,,,your genes require mixing, and if you have incest your genes meet the same of what you offer, often giving rise to birth defects and other cancerous conditions.
Darwin never considered incest in his great plan, lucky that God did.....don't do it.
