an example is you have a dream to become a doctor, and you enrolled at a reputable school like harvard to become a doctor. During your stay at harvard, why do you need to hold on to that ambition?

its called progress...we are built to strive towards growth. stagnation results in apathy and a loss of zest. living entails progressing, learning, growing, advancing....if your ambition is to be a doctor it gives you a specialised focus. once you have a focus the speed of growth heightens intensely and the human soul is nourished.

My mother told me that our main priority in life to possess Allah's bless. Ambition drives you towards the right path. Me myself I want to be a neurologist and because of that i always remind myself about my ambition every time I think about giving up my life and future. For me, I always say to myself that many people in my life have sacrificed so I can be what i dream to be. For me, ambition is something that can help you back to the ground when you fall down..

It is part of life - a developmental stage in terms of a person becoming a complete human being is a stage referred to as self-actualization, where you determine who you are and work towards becoming your ideal. Without ambition we are nothing, and we degenerate. Having dreams makes us human.
