For r. madrid everything is pretty much a loss now. Zidane, Beckham, Figo, and ronaldo were the figures of soccer and thats what gave real madrid their whole potential. Now even though many others figures like c. ronaldo and thierry are become legends this is not a gain for Real because sooner or later barca will be the leader!!!!

Some people find the fact that they didn't gain many trophy on the galactico era eliminates the prestige value of the team.
But individually these people were very big icons. Instead of downgrading the club's elite-ness, I think the reason real is so big currently is because they were the club that ultimate great players at that time played for. Individually Zidane and Ronaldo gain prestige awards. It also boosted the marketing value of the club.
Real's not so hot after they leave things with capello either... So all in all I believe it was definitely a good investement.

Is there even a team named Real Madrid? man with all of the stars leaving, that team is going to struggle....morally i mean..! what was the accomplishment from having so many starts to begin with?
